They all could be sponges, I would bet more on the second and third pics to be a sponge, maybe a Q Tip. The first if not a sponge could be a small leather coral of some type, but im not sure about that.

When I moved the live rock into this tank a few weeks back, I noticed something like the top pic (leather coral). That tried to worm its way through the intake of my powerhead and got stuck. I finally pried it out, but it was still kinda alive. Almost looked like a worm, not a bristleworm. I doubt a coral can worm its way through powerhead??

I just saw it there today, from what the images show on google about peanut worms, it looks like the worm that tangled itself in my powerhead. Shall I be concerned about peanut worms, are they bad?

Happy 4th everyone! I took 2 more pics. Can someone tell me what the 1st pic is, looks like some type of coraline algae? 2nd pic looks like anemone or something attached to the pink stuff? Being new to reef tanks, I have no clue!!!

There are many types of encrusting corals thats what they look like to me. Might be dying, but I don't see an detiroration. Just wait and see what happens.

When I moved and setup the tank a few weeks back, the rocks where out of water for about an hour during the transpo. After putting that encrusted rock back into the tank, I noticed a lot of die off. But, recently in the past couple of days I noticed these polyp-like formations hanging off this stuff that appears to be encrusted bubblegum rock. It seems to be doing ok, don't know if its good or bad..I would have to guess good, but I'm not a pro!
YET!!

Here's a couple of updated pics. The first one I was told they where green star polyps, this looks more pinkish and no green to it. The second looks like a hammer coral or frogspawn maybe??? I don't know!

white star polyps and I believe a toadstool leather.
Thanks! PerfectDark. Normally how long does it take for a leather toadstool to grow to its adult size? And with both the WSP and toadstool, do they require the normal strong lighting and trace elements to grow?
