hitchhiking invert (photos)

This came on some macro-algae. The head reminds me of some sort of basketstar because the 'arms' move independently in towards the mouth.
The macro was about to go in a fresh water dip before going into my dwarf seahorse tank when I spotted it. It is very small, perhaps 1.5-inch.

Yep, that looks just like it. Glad I caught it before it went in with the ponies. Oh my! Just read my marine invert book... recommends 100g tank. Yikes, my biggest is a 29g. Guess it is going in there. If it survives and gets too big, I'll have to revisit where it lives.

I have seen it happen. Then again it was 18 inches long. It crashed a fully stocked 90 gallon tank. Would be awsome in a species only.

I put it in my 30g reef tank. If anything in the tank dies, it has the capacity to crash it. I haven't seen it since I put it in which isn't surprising but I hope that its found a spot.
