hitchhiking urchin! ID please? is it good or bad?

Just found an urchin in my 20gal reef.. i am interested in finding out if its bad news or not... Tonight is the first time I found it, i scooped it up and put it in my sump until i can find out if its predatory or not.. thoughts??

Not sure, but it looks like a pink tuxedo urchin. I used to have one. Only trouble is they like to "decorate" themselves with shells, macros, etc.
At first, I thought it was cool, but it also would pick up frags and things I didn't want moved. Eventually, I gave it away!
By the way, I paid $25 for mine, so nice hitchhiker!

Most urchins tend to be algae and dead stuff eaters and some like seaweed and similar plants. Though that algae includes coraline for some. Also they can be a bit toxic to the touch, not having to actually puncture the skin to sting you if you mess with them bare handed.
