Just a quick question. I bought the tang below about a year ago. He was suffering from horrible HLLE. He has made a great recovery but still has a little left. Any suggestions on how to speed his recovery? The entire lateral line from his eye all the way to the tail was bad. Now you can see what is left. I have been feeding an wide variety of foods including Nori, Spirulina Enriched Brine, Brine High in HUFA's, Marine Cuisine. The majority of the HLLE was gone within the first 6 months but this last bit is still hanging around.

Boy that is a nice looking fish. The scaring from HLLE may never entirely go even though the fish is no longer suffering from the disease process.
Try using some vit C drop supplements or, Zoe or Zoecon on the food.
Do you use a grounding probe?

I do use a grounding probe. I haven't used zoecon (or garlic) on its food. I may try it...is it a chemical or all natural? I hate to add things that aren't all natural to the tank.

Zoecon is a food supplement. Add it to the food and let it soak for about an hour before offering it to the fish.
Very good supplment too.
