HMM... A boxing crab with no gloves

Where the H is his boxing gloves? he is about the size of a qaurter and has no anemones when do they get them? did he lose them? will he ever get them? i have no anemones in my tank

I have heard that sometimes they just make do with what they have and grab something else to wave around

Lmao this will probably hit the swf records for the dumbest question but.... Can i buy my pom pom crab some pom poms?

i read that if they lose their pom pom they can get more from other pom poms. when the anemone gets big the pom pom will frag it and throw some away and another pom pom will pick it up if needed. same is true if they lose only one, they will frag the one on the remaining claw and transfer it tothe empty claw. cool!
the anemones they use are specialised i think. you may need to add another pom pom with the proper sp. of anemone.
