we are FINALLY expecting rain. today is the first day of hurricane season in florida. the first year i moved here my entire county was evacuated for the "florida fires" also some areas have been experiencing fires now, which is why we NEED rain. IMO there is no "safe" place, everyone gets something. i think its called "Mother Nature" terrible as it is sometimes. thankfully we are all blessed with some really beautiful days. stay safe!

The worst thing about tornado season around here is all the TV networks stay on forever giving the same warnings and showing the same radar. I guess they are trying to get ratings but, I think they scare some people. If you watch network TV the entire sping in Oklahoma no one has a head because there is always a state map plastered across the top third of the screen. I love tornados as long as they are going across the pastures and not the homes or towns... and you are guarenteed to get hit if you live in a trailer park. If a tornado has hit your trailer park more than once it's time to move.
Cindy - where do you live? I was in Palm Beach and Boca area a couple of weeks ago. Never seen more money in all my life. I think I could just live in one of those mansions or on one of the yachts and no one would ever know.

I love tornados too. In the respect that I am in awe of their power and fury. I was in one when I was 4 years old, that destroyed our neighborhood, and it was an f-3. We had an F-5 hit North Birmingham 5 years ago that killed over 30 people. I saw the damage the next morning, it was horrible and mind numbing. But I am still fascinated with them. Anytime we have one in the area, I'm out chasing it like a fool. Like a moth to the candle.

your right though, you could just put on a gardner or maid outfit and they would just think you were staff
