hob filter

i have a hob filter with just a carbon pad and i dont think it helps much. could i get a clamp on led light and throw some caulpra and pods and chaeto in there for a mini refugium. i foud a good deal a 4x4x4 bunch of caulprau and 250 pods for 16.99.

I don't see why not, as long as you have a way to keep it all from getting tangled up in the impeller.
