hole in mandrain

i have a green mandrain that has a big white hole in it and isnt eating what should i do for treatment and what is the disease called my water has been tested and is fine

Just curious but where on the madarin is this big white hole?
Is it all the way through the fish?
Is it cottony like?

its on his side not all the way through and it is a bit cottony

the hole is about a 1/4" deep into the fishes side

that happened to mine. got him from the store no hole, next day whole later that night dead

Can you put the fish in a QT? You could try an antibiotic treatment, but you definately have to do this in a QT. It could be an injury or an internal problem. Can you get a pic up?
