HOLY MEXICO!!!!!!

So I went to my LFS an hour ago for water,phosgard and some snails.
Well I grabbed 3 Zombie Snails and 2 Mexican Turbos. These guys are HUGE!!!!!

Yep. Mexican turbos will plough through some algae and your corals, knocking over corals and rocks.

Good find for a big tank.

The problem with too many Mexican turbos is that once they've cleaned out our algae, then they starved to death, unless you have quite a large tank that can support them.

If it becomes an issue I will trade them in for something else. My local LFS (corals galore) is very awesome and will let me trade them back in.
Thank you for the info everybody. I honestly did not know about them starving.
I guess I could also swap them back and fourth between sump and DT.

That is true for a few marine animals commonly seen in home tanks, such as the lawnmower goby as well.
