holy tentacle size, batman!

Is this normal for brain coral or is mine trying to tell me that it is starving?

My favias do this EVERY night and one even does it during the day. I usually squirt a little fish food their way at night and they'll accept it with open arms (or tentacles).
I don't think they're starving, mine are actually growing quite a bit.

WOW, those are some crazy tenticles. Do they all extend like that, or just those few?

Mine have a few that are super long as well. It's kinda cool and he's growing just fine.

I only saw a handful of the really long ones. The picture is pretty close to actual size, they extended maybe 1-1/2"-2" out. I had done a water change and stirred up some debris a couple hours earlier. I am wondering if that had something to do with it.

Possibly. I usually only get a couple long tentacles and the rest stay quite short.
