Well it only took 24 dollars to make, 10 of it being a waste of money since i blew out the fan trying to attach a extention cord to the neg/pos part.. seems like its too much juice... so looks like the fan will have to be on hold for another day until i find out a way to make it work without blowing out the fan and without shocking me to death. The thing is made out of, which i think was called Bloss wood, some type of light wood i think its made out of saw dust i got at the hobby shop. My friend used a hot glue gun and a drill and some type of plastic for the vent thing. It was my friend's, SpeCk95Es, design. Basically its about 2 inches from the top of the tank and the back and the sides have holes to keep the hood a little cooler then before, which is working.

If you want to get the fan working get an adapter from radio shack to convert the 110 to like maybe 12vdc. Most fans will say what the voltage should be. I use computer case fans, and ac adapters from radio shack.

sounds good to me, i'll give that a try. What are you using to cover up the wires so you wont get shocked?

You can buy some insulation that wraps around the exposed wire. Then you heat it with a blow dryer, or heat gun, and it shrinks. You can also use electrical tape, or wire nuts.
