Homemade Filter

I need help with a filter for a 125 I will be getting. I have a 55 now with a hob filter, live rock and a protien skimmer, so I have no experience with a wet/dry, which is what I think I want. I want to also have a turf scrubber with a refugium at the bottom. Can I just make everything? I'm looking a pictures of these filters in a catalog and they just seem to be a container with chambers in it. I'm hoping to fit everything underneath the tank and of course I'm hoping to do all this as cheaply as possible. Any information/opinions on this wil be appreciated.

that's all it is.. a container with chambers. People make their own all the time. Some use rubbermaid bins.

The Rubbermaid container is what I used for my sump. I will try to post a picture, but work computers hate me.

If this dose not work, check out my 135 gallon build.
just the use of a couple of bins and I used a perforated bin to keep my LRR in.
