what does bump mean? anyway, i use cyclopese and everyone seems to like it. but i also add nori sheets (roasted seaweed from any asian market), and make my own frozen delight. i read it on a site somewhere, but cant remember where...take a handful of the seafood mix at any grocery store (usually clam, scallops, shrimpmeat, etc.) and toss it in a blender. freze in a 'zip-loc' laid flat and break off what you need. fish go nuts and my bta loves it! also easy to add garlic or whatever if needed.

bump is a way to get your post back to the top of the first page, when it falls back far enough that people dont see it. thanks for your input.

I cant recommend making your own food enough.
My fish and inverts go absolutely nuts and my cyano has gone away now that I am not using LFS prepared food. I still mix in flake and pellets some days for variety.
For my food I used:
Clams, mussles, flounder, shrimp, scallops, nori (sushi seaweed), garlic, cyclopeeze, marc weiss' combo vital, and some tank water.
The 3 zip-locks that I filled will last me a long time.
Its a mess and a pain to make, but well worth it in the end.

About how much of everything do you use? The seaweed, can you get it at most grocery stores? Do you just grind it up w/ a food procesor and dump it in the bags or do you lay it flat in the freezer on wax paper or somthing simillar? Please elaborate, the help is greatly appreciated.
