As you may or may not remember, I am getting married in May 08. I just got the honeymoon booked yesterday. We are spending a week down in St. Lucia Sandals style!!! We are both really excited. I am actually shocked how good the rates are. Now it is time for scuba lessons!!!!!

Enjoy your trip and have fun with the life of the ball and chain.
I'm hoping that she loves the fish tanks and is willing to do whatever is needed to keep them up. Be carefull scuba diving. Remember how big the ocean is and that you can not keep a tank that big or exactly replicate what you saw. Do not come back and want to buy a even bigger tank either. Congratulations to you two and enjoy your lives together.

Thanks. I am not worried about her doing tank maintenance or even wanting a bigger one (No pun intended). It's just a hobby for me.

Which Sandals are you staying at on St Lucia? I went there for my honeymoon last AprilMay. We stayed at a resort called Ladera for 3 days then did 4 days at the Sandals Grand St Lucian. It's the nicest of the 3 on the island, unless you are a golfer then one of the other ones would be good for you.

Very cool! We went with the Concierge room which is one level below the Butler service. I had already dropped over 2K for 3 days at the first resort we stayed at and didnt think we needed to go over the top at Sandals. One thing you should definitely try to do is get to the south end of the Island. All the Sandals are at the North end. The southern end is still mostly rainforest with a few small fishing villages. MUCH better scenery than the north end, especially if you are into hiking at all. There is also the worlds only drive through volcano on the south end that was pretty cool to see.
I've got tons of pictures of the Island if you are interested.

Sandals Regency was very nice. I did my honeymoon there also. I paid around $7500 for 8 days. Had the butler service and food available for 24 hours. We had a blast. If your room is on the bluff, have fun walking up that hill.
We did it for 2 days before we realized there were people driving golf carts who will take you up and down.

Yeah that wont be a good week for trading spaces with ya!! We ditched the wine country plan due to the fact that not near as many people would be able to come and it was a headache trying to plan a wedding at a place you have never been using vendors you knew nothing about. So we are having it local. Google Palm Harbor White Chapel if ya want to check it out!

Nice. If I ever get to St. Lucia I'm going fishing with Captain Mike who holds the top 2 blue marlin records in that area. Is there any way you can invite a friend instead of your wife? HA
