well, after months of research here and at other sights i finally put my hood/light system together for my 75 gal. the hood looks alright, considering i only had a circular saw and drill. but i am happy with the 4-110 watt VHO lighting, but i did allow room inside the hood for metal halide later.
i just want to say that is is possible for a novice to build their own hood, and also thanx to anyone who answered my questions.
if i had a digital camera i would post some pics, but i dont have the budget for one of those toys yet.
again, kudos to this website/message board, for i am always learning something new in this hobby.
