Horned Blenny turned dark

I have had my horned blenny for about 2 months now and he has been thriving. We had a bad storm the other night and the electricity went out for a few hours. We hooked up a generator but for some reason, and unknown to us, the filter had quit running.
Today my blenny looks dark and has been hiding in the rocks. All the chemistry tests perfect. The rest of the fish seem to be okay. I'm really worried as this is my favorite fish. He comes when I call him and eats from my hand. When I tried feeding him this morning, he didn't come out. Does anyone know what I can do for him?
Thanks much.

Jan, not much you can do since this fish is buried in the rocks, except wait and see. Keep testing your water to be sure that the temporary filter breakdown didn't cause a problem. Did you get the filter going again? And, of course, you will have to change out any media or filter pads in that filter after it has been disabled for awhile before starting it up.

Beth, thank you.
My Blenny died a little while ago. I didn't know to take the filter material out after it had been off so I probably killed him. The other fish seem to be okay as are the inverts. I have living rock and sand in there so as of now, I've emptied the filter of all it's material...foam, carbon and biomax. I may not use a filter as I thing the lr should suffice. I did a partial water change and will do another tomorrow.
