horseshoe crab......???

i just bought a horseshoe crab, but he is just swimming in circles, and not staying grounded, is this normal? or just retarded???

dont think its normal, also, bad buy it gets like 4 feet or somethign rediculous and are a bad choice for home aquaria

Return the crab. They are not suited for most home aquaria. They grow very large and will trash your tank.

how big is your tank, they need lots of sand and they usuly die because not enough sand to forage in, also they are like little bulldosers, going under rocks and knocking everything down

55 gal, i guess ill get rid of him, i dont want to flash him ans the LFS will not take him back......
are they really that bad, the lfs said he would only get to be 3" long..

the fish store will tell you anything to make a $1 no pun inteded, he might be fine for a little bit but ultimatly it will be a problem, i had one in a 90 and it died because it didnt have enough, they get huge
