horseshoe crab

does anyone have one.i need something to sift the sand ,i have a sand sifting star but need something more do you think a horseshoe crab will do the trick and are they reef safe

horseshoe crabs are not... aquarium suitable (they will get very large if they live long enough)
I suggest hermit crabs /gobies/snails

i have had mine in my 55 for about 2 years now. i only see him about once every 6 months.. mine has stayed about the size of a quarter. most people say not to get them because they can grow big and mess your tank up. i dont know why mine has stayed small.. just thought i would share my experiance with you....
