Not to rain on your parade, but they decimate a sand bed pretty quickly and then starve. They grow very large as well. They are not suitable for most home aquariums.

What size tank did you throw them in? I believe the growth rate is rather slow, but they do go through the sand rather quickly and could run out of food.

Right now he is in my 125, upgrading to a 300 very soon have everything just need to build a new stand for it. Then I will be moving everything over in a month or so. I wanted to get one of these guy’s because I going all sand in the 300 and wanted something to keep it clean.
