Hospital tank help

I have a foxface and a niger trigger in hosp. tank due to fin rot. I set up the tank using 75% water from my main tank. I have no substrate, and have some live rock in the tank. I have been doing water changes every day to keep the levels down. My problem is: I did a 25% water change today. I decided to test the water afterwards just to check, and my nitrates are still way high, ammonia is a little high, and nitrites are fine. Should I do another water change today?
THANKS!!!

Might want to consider doing a 10%-15% water change every day until the levels fall back to normal. Was the live rock taken from your main tank or is it new rock you purchased? It may be having alot of die-off and thus causing your spikes.

The live rock was a new one. (I'm sure it's the cause of the spike) I alreasdy did about a 25 % water change today, and levels are still high. Just needed to know if I should do another one today. Also, can Melafix cause any levels to go up?
