i need to set up 29 gallon hospital tank.
what would be the least expensive set up for this hospital tank and what does it include......?

Tank, heater, small HOT filter or sponge filter, small powerhead (optional) couple pieces of 3 inch dia. pvc for shelter.
Cheap NO strip light.

right now im about to order a
fluval 204
100 watt filter
65 watt pc with moon light
300 gph powerhead
digital thermometer
versa top
29 gallon tank
do you think that is good or will i need a protien skimmer

Personally, I do'nt think you need a protein skimmer for a sick tank. As long as you do regular water changes it should be fine, I'd think.

i dont think you need a protein skimmer either, I also think that you dont need that much light, but that is my opinion. Are you going to use it as a display?
