Unfortunately, I had to put a fish in a hospital tank last night. I didn't have one set up and ended up doing it hastily. I didn't paint the bottom of the tank & it is a total mirror reflection in there. I know this is going to disorient my fish so I want to fix it asap and was wondering the best way. Would it work if I go buy a new rubber bath mat & cut to fit the inside bottom of the tank? I will paint the bottom at a later time.
For anyone that doesn't have a QT/hospital tank, I just got a 10 gallon kit for $29.87 at a well known superstore. (Not sure if I can say the name here?) It came with 10 gallon tank, full hood w/light, cheap filter, 50 watt heater, digital thermometer, fish net, some kind of fish food & booklet. Great deal!
