Hospital tank

I have decided to buy a 10 gallon to use as a hospital tank (my flame angel has ich in a reef tank). I tried one of the reef safe ich medications with no luck. My other two fish have shown no visible symptoms (my angel has had it off and on for about 2 weeks now). My question is if I remove the angel and put him in the hospital tank to treat him will the ich in the display tank eventually die or attack a new host (even though my other two fish seem to be pretty immune to it now). I am worried about treating the Angel only to put him back in the display tank to be reinfected.

The other fish are a firefish and a sabae clownfish. Unfortunately I don't have the equipment to quarantine all three fish for that long. The other problem is going to be catching the fish in a tank full of coral and liverock. The angel will probably be possible but the firefish darts under the rocks the minute I go into the water.
