I have two questions about a hospital tank. First, is 5 gallons big enough. I figure I will never have more than one fish at a time, and the LFS keeps a bunch in 10 gallon tanks. Second, does the tank need to be occupied at all times to keep the bacteria alive. Do I throw a damsel in?
