What could I get besides an anemone to host a clown? I got a plate coral I though he would find interest in but dosen't have any. Is there any anemone I can put under PC's? Thanks!

Plate corals can host clowns.
Clowns don't need to be hosted by anything, and not all clowns will choose a coral to be hosted by.
My clowns are hosted by green hairy mushrooms and Armor of God palythoas, but it took them eight months before they showed any interest. Now they never leave unless to go to the other.

My 2 percs seem to like green star polyps. My tomato clown does seem to like anything, except the BTA that I had to take out of the tank last year. I'm thinking of getting another one in about a month or so.

I'd just give it some more time. My percs weren't interested in the green star polyps for about a year or so. Maybe they were tired of waiting on an anemone, I don't know. But they will hide in the polyps now.
