Dunno....mine totally ignored mine until i came home today to see him making sweet love to it lol... I think they're all different but it's definately a good sign that he's touched it.

it really depends on what type of clown what type of anemone and if the clown was captive raised it all makes a difference in how long it will take to host. some captive raised clowns never go to an anemone because they didnt learn what they are and what to do.
BTW damsels also host in anemones just an FYI thing LOL

condy anemones arent natural to any damsel fish territory. ever once in awhile they will start to host in them but its not a regular occourance.

I know this sounds ridiculous, but the picture idea I stole from this site worked. (taping a picture of a clown in an anemone on the side of your tank)
It took my true perc one day to located my green bulb and now it won't leave! Such a beautiful thing...

i find clowns strange creatures sometimes!! :) in my last tank I had a maroon and a rbta in the same tank for over a year and the maroon never hosted! however on the day the rbta started dying guess what...the stupid fish decided to fall in love with it! too bad the mariage only lasted 5 hours!
