Hot Magnum

My H.O.T. Magnum started pumping out air on ocassion. Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening. I have cleaned the whole filter even the air tube , but I still get small bubbles from time to time.

I'm guessing that the top isn't sealing all the way and air is getting into it there. First thing I'd do is inspect the o-ring

When you remove the top portion of the cannister, you will see your cartrige, and the black insert with the tube attached, there is a black ring on the top and on the bottom of this, make sure these are there(I left 1 in my sink one time when cleaning.) Also after you place the cartrige back into the cannist, and are ready to close it up, fill it with water firstuntill it's almost overflowing. This will stop your bubbles from the start. HTH
