I have the carbon in my Magnum filter- does carbon eliminate essential trace elements for a FOWLER even with a supplement? Do I need this? My only other filtration (other than the biological listed below) is a Berlin protein skimmer.
I am not sure if the carbon takes away trace elements. dont think it does. No in a fowlr you dont need trace elements unless ithas some coral. If your talking about if you need the filter...... well it would not hurt to keep it running.
