I finally caught that stupid royal gramma. Grrrrr I hate that fish. He has been beating up my clownfish so we caught him and took him to my boyfriends tank. Fairly new tank but all the levels have been stable for a couple weeks. Anyways it took 3 nets to catch this thing. I hope my clownfish isn't too stressed, we took breaks in between trying to catch him. He is out and about and very curious and seems like himslef. I'll see if he will eat in a while. I think he will hes been trying to eat random things anyway.

WE finally had to take some of the rock work apart and scare the fish into the net while he was trying to get to another area. We used a flashlight to scare him. This is appaloosa1 by the way

I feel your pain.....I really need to remove a pain the rear blue damsel from a clients well established 90 gal bow front. They want a school of chromis and the deamon damsel constantly harasses them. The deamon has got to go...traps haven't worked...no success to date catching him...so in the near future I'll remove the corals and LR.......then catch the lil beast. Maybe banish him to my refugium where either my brittle or assorted crabs can dine on him at their leisure.

Crox - 12 volt car battery - hook a set of jumper cables to it and then touch the other ends together in the tank.
Should stun them enough to grab 'em.
Before the hate mail starts - I'M KIDDING!!!!!!

haha... well everything is looking good in my tank. The clownfish is much happier not being harassed anymore! The gramma adjusted well to his new home and is eating very well so I must say this was a sucess!
