I come here for advice. Does anybody have knowledge w these wrasse? I'd love to get one but my concern is will it eat my shrimp or snails?

I had a melanarus for several years. As with most of the halocheres" wrasses, they are great - lots of action, peaceful, good eaters once they start, hearty and very beautiful. They will eat fireworms, but I never saw mine prey on any of my ornamental snails. A great fish!

Excellent thank u sir. I was worried since I got a sunset blenny. Said it would eat small shrimp like pistol but would leave other larger shrimp alone. Wrong!!!!!!! Killed my biggest cleaner shrimp, so since I've been hesitant w new fish that could cause issues.
