Ben,
I have CSL PC lighting on both my tanks. They work fine for me and what I am keeping is growing well and healthy.
All depends on what you want to keep under them. They work for me. Everyone has their own personal lighting preferences - as you're certainly aware.
What size tank you planning on lighting, and what are you going to put in there ?
You can see them on my site.
See ya,
Brian

i have the retro fit kit which is 23 inches long and 55 watts and personally i love the look of the lighting, at first it has been causeing me a little bit of an algae bloom, but i just started getting my clean up crew(last night) and they imiditalyl started working on it, but if u want pics of what it looks like, u can check out my equpment page on my web site

I've no doubt that soon someone will post here and say...."MH is the only....ONLY way"....but for what its worth I use CSL on my 55 reef (2x65 watt smartlite&2x65 watt 10000k) 48" fixtures on a custom canopy.......I've got 75lbs + lr and 75lbs+ls.....assorted corals and critters and personally I'm extremely pleased with the performance of these lights...........soon I will be adding some sps corals and to tell the truth I do not anticipate any major peoblems..........I would suggest that you research....gather info...........take the MH advocates preaching with a grain of salt and decide for yourself what you want and what you plan to keep..........get what pleases you and what works best for your application.......but for me.......CSL is fine

I use CSL 2x96 watt in the abs enclosure. For the money its fine but, I am not really satisfied with the color of the lights. Whites are yellowish and the blue leaves a lot to be desired. The actinics I started with, NO FLO's had much better color. I will be going with MH/vho combo on the new 90 gal this summer.

Rick, do you plan on selling your pc's after you upgrade? Are your bulbs old? Could be giving it that yellow tint because i think they run 8800k for white lights in the smart bulbs. Should look more white.
