how bad is the mantis

I have a mantis about 1 inch long. It spends most of the time burrowing under rocks. he makes a lot of clicking and I caught him today making the noise as he scraped a small tube worm off a piece of LR. Before I start going after him what other stuff might he go after? I have frogspawn, porites, colt coral and a couple of mushroom rocks. and these are my biggest concern.

I have a mantis in my 30 reef, he never messes with any of the corals. But I could see him burrowing under my open brain that is in the sand on the bottom of the tank. But chances of that are slim as the brain is anly 2 " long and the mantis is closer to 3 and half to four.
They will go after any other shrimp and crabs in the tank. Mine wipes out my hermits at about 2 to 3 a week. They will also limit what fish you add to the tank. I just add fish that are cheap, so if he does take one I will not be out alot of money.
