How big will it get?

Me again......went to the fish store today and they had a french angel that was like 8". My question is....in a 50 gal aquarium how big would a french angel get if it was by itself?? Would it get too big for the tank? On the same token what about the panter grouper or the picasso trigger? I don't want to get a fish that's an inch at the fish store, and have it grow too big and be unhappy. ANy thoughts are appreciated. BTW the tank is a euro display one which bubbles out in the front and is only 3 ft long and 2 ft high.

In my opinion this tank is way too small for large angels. This fish would naturaly grow to 12-14" and even a 8" one will never be happy in a tank this small. I would recomend 150-200g for all large angels. If you want an angel then go for one of the dwarfs.
