I have a LTA and it looks like it has 2 mouths. I see two slits and when I fed it about 5 minutes ago, it engulfed its food into a spot I didn't know was there! Currently the base is about the size of a silver dollar. Is this normal? Could it be splitting?
From what i heard the first stages is the mouth splitting. So if the mouth has split then i would say you have a splitting anemone. What do you feed Him/her? just curious
on this site/forum BTAs and LTAs are often confused, so it could be splitting, if it is a BTA. If it is actually an LTA ( M.doreensis) then its highly doubtful that it is splitting.
