Thinking about building a custom tank to inhabit a dogface puffer fish. i am well aware they get very big i've heard people say from 12" to even 16". i was thinking something not so deep to save gallons for length and width if you know what i mean. i was thinking around 2 feet deep should be enough? if i could go smaller please help. would 5 1/2' or 6' be long enough, and what width would you suggest? thanks everyone. once again this is primarily for a dogface pufferfish so iw ant to make something comfortable, but not too big, and affordable hopefully! :happyfish

72x24 would be in the 150 ballpark. It would be good for one that was small and would work for many years. But just know this guy here is a Mappa and is over 10'' thick and well even in a 500 gal he is quite a hand full. This guy is not mine as I no longer take puffers or triggers in. But it was given to my buddy from a guy who took down his tank and well, no one around had the room for this guy.
