if your tank is big enough get a lion fish or grouper. then take it back to the LFS and get credit.

I had his problem too. I'm sorry to say but the only way I got mine out was by taking all my LR out and cornering it. It was a pain in my
but thats how I did it.

if you only have damsels, you can try to build a fish trap...just get a 2 liter bottle and cut the top off, reverse it, secure it the the rest of the bottle, put some food in the bottom, and wait... you may need to try a few times or catch some other fish, but if u get the damsel, it will be worth it =]

dart gun and a dart with a little piece of food on the end... gets em' every time.
That's how I take out damsels in my customers 400 gallon plus tanks...

I'm very serious about catching them with trout hooks. I caught a clown this way, he was a really PIA but now he's some elses problem.

Damsels can be very aggressive, and next to impossible to remove when you have lr and corals all in place. Do a search on removing a damsel and start reading, I would take the damsel out before you add anything including your clowns, JMO

You can try using the fish hooks, but if all else fails, take out the live rock. Don't you think putting all that new fish might overload your system? I'm guessing its only a couple months old.

Dart gun? Holy schneikies... what to you do, harpoon 'em right through the kisser? Holy.....
I guess that's one way to solve the problem of a troublesome damn-sel!

Anyone every use a suction device to catch them? Saw one listed on craigslist. Lots of divers, snorkelers here in SE florida and guess they go catch them with this device. Little friendlier than harpooning them, if it works.

Yep, we use them quite a bit. Google 'slurp guns'
