How can I feed my bta?

I try to place food in it around it's mouth but my perc is so protective of it he/she takes the krill and removes it from the anemones. What other options are there. I have two percs one smaller than the other is it common for the large one to run off the little one?

Until the anemone get bigger or the two percs finally pair up that could be normal, or the BTA splits giving each of them a new home. Try thawing some mysis shrimp and use a turkey baster to gently squirt some into the tenticals of the anemone, the tentacles should wrap them in fairly quickly so that the clown fish can't steal them.

In some cases clown fish do take care of them, even though they don't mean to.
Clown fish like many fish are simply greedy, they spit some food at the anemone, but they think they are saving it for later, but the anemone of course eats it. The anemone also eats the dung of the clownfish.
I still like to feed my BTA's once a month or two, they seem to like it. In the case of carpet anemones or poor lighting then they require more food. Carpets should be fed at least twice per week.
