How can I get pods?

I have seen one tiny shrimp-like thing in my powerhead screen. I was trying to remove some debris from it and this little gray thing started twitching.
My question is: How can I get them to populate the LR or how can I get more of them? Do LFS sell them?
I've seen them on this site, but don't have enough stuff to order to add some pods to an order, to make it worth it.
I eventually want to get a flame angel and I know my butterfly and others would live something to feed on, so I want to get some pods in there. Also are the shrimp looking ones good or bad?

there are several ways to get them.
buy lr with some on it.
buy some chaeto with some on it.
buy some from here or another source like a lfs.
buy some ls from a lfs. although i don't think they are in bagged live sand(could be wrong).
or just wait in time you will have them all over your lr and sand. you may want to give them a place to reproduce and thrive....like some live rock rubble in a corner - just stacked up or some chaeto.

Thanks for the ideas. What is chaeto?
Do LFS sometimes sell bottles of them, I know I've seen them online here? Can you buy eggs and hatch them like brine? If not that would be a great idea.

Chaeto is a macroalgae that alot of people keep in their sump/fuges. It absorbs dissolved organic waste and reduces nitrates.

that's what i do! i don't buy them, i wait for her to bring me my pods... :happyfish
