How old is the tank? levels? lights? cycled? LR? Why buy something in a bottle that will grow on its own? Purple up has mixed revews but mostly bad.

I use purple up and can't say anything bad about it. I will say keep your levels good and don't over do it.

Coralline grows wild when you have a proper balance of magnesium, calcium, and alkalinity.

The keys to good coraline are simple...and seldom come as the result of miricle fix products in a bottle.
A well established and maintained marine system with stable water chemistry
a good quality source of coraline normally via LR
circulation to spread the spores of the already established coraline
decent lighting to encourage new growth
and...the critical ingrediants

Is T5 lighting good lighting to start the coralline and maybe later introduce corals, i know i don't have good lighting now. I just have the fluoresant bulbs that come with a tanks, nothing special.
