How do frag a candy cane

I have a candy can that has some dead polyps and some live ones. I want to cut of the live ones so it wont look ugly. How can I frag them?

There are a few ways......dremel, wet saw, or a SHARP pair of bone cutters. Trumpets, along with most branching lps, don't have a dense skeleton structure. If what you are using isn't sharp-you will crush/shatter part of the skeleton.
