How do I attach Eshopps hose to Overflow?

Statement:
I have an Eshopps Overflow Box PF-300 with what I was told is an Eshopps 6 foot hose (see 1st picture below “Eshopps sm”). Because the overflow box did not come with an included hose as you probably know, I had to buy the hose separately.
Questions:
1) I was told that this is an Eshopps 6 foot drain hose (see 2nd picture below "Eshopps hose sm"), is this correct? I know you can not see all 6 feet but this is what both ends of the hose look like.
2) How do I securely fasten the hose into the black drain?
All I could do was to insert the 6 foot hose inside firmly as there are no threads or fasteners. I want to make sure that it does not fall out what do I do?
3) If glue what type?
4) Is there an alternate to glue that would allow detaching and reattaching of the hose?
Thank you all for your help.

I'd try gluing (using PVC pipe cement) a short section of 1" pipe into the bulkhead.
Then slip the hose over the pipe where it protrudes from the bulkhead and secure it with a stainless steel hose clamp.
You're right, it's gonna fall out the way it is.

They all jam up their that way... they never fall out. They are honestly designed to just be stuck up there.... there is no next step.

...maybe it won't fall out then...
whatever the case, you need to shove it in harder than it is, you've got water leaking in your pics.

It's weird... and a little unnerving. But it stays so awesomely. But they are also gravity fed and not under any pressure.

Thank you both very much your advice about being able to seal and then later unseal the hose by just jamming it will enable me to clean it.
My Fish and I thank you.

I know on my cpr overflow it says to glue a piece of pvc into the bulkhead then slip the hose over the pvc and put a hose clamp on it.

These are a little different. The hose and that PVC fitting that you see jammed in there is one piece. There is nowhere to put a clamp on this model.
