How do I frag my Kenya Tree?

I have a decent sized Kenya Tree in my tank that has a small sprout beside it (about an inch and a half when fully open)
How do I remove it from the rock and place it somewhere else so it can get more direct light and flow? Thanks

just cut it off with a clean razor blade and ruber band or glue it to another rock. mine frags itself, started with 1 and never touched it and now have 5-6

problem i've run into with fragging a kenya is getting it to stick after. they seem to exude a juice that is semi sticky, perfect for sticking to sand. you may want to cut the tree, stick the base into semi coarse sand, let it attach itself to the sand, then glue the tree to a rock.

If you look in the red circle really close, there is a small seperate coral. It is pretty small and never gets to fully extend because of the larger one, so I figured I would move it somewhere else so it could grow better.

i slow... i think any of the methods above would work. i also think with a piece that small if you place it somewhere in youre tank without securing it down first, the flow may carry it away. i would suggest a rubber band slightly to one side of the foot , cut the tree as close to the rock as possible. and if you dont get the whole foot off another one will grow off the tiniest piece left. after a day or two it should start to attach itself, doesnt take long, gl

I just did the cut. It was harder to cut than I thought! I attached it to a piece of rock with hair algae on it. It seems to stick fine, but I will watch it to make sure. I hope I didn't hurt it too bad, it looks very angry

haha, ok. Do you have too many or something? If you would like to get rid of one or two to me, I would be glad to take them. I want to start a frag tank soon.
