My Saltinity Level was at 1.021 when I started and now it slowly increases day by day but the water level doesn't drop. How do I lower the Saltinity in the tank?

There are twom ways to do this. First what is the level of your tank? If you can add RO water or distilled water with conditioners of course without salt it should lower the level or you can take some water out of the tank and add the ro water distilled water with out salt this would also lower the level

Evaporation is causing it. Replace the evaporated water with FW not SW and once the water level is back to its normal place and the water has time to mix well the salt level should be normal again.

I agree that evaporation caused it. As water evaporates, the salt stayes in the tank, making it more salty. Probably add some fresh water until the original water level is attained.

Your Salinity will increase as water evaporates from the tank you stated that your water level is not droping. have you checked your Sump? If you are using a Wet Dry Sump system then the water level in the tank will remain constant but your water level in the sump will drop. you can then add Make up water but be shure to add Buffer to your Make up water so that your don't drop your PH as well.

Why would you want it any lower anyway. 1.021 is about the lowest you should go and it would take a substantial evaporation loss to make it climb into a bad range. As mentioned it would be noticable in your sump your salinity cant climb without evaporation.

that was the same ? i had. isnt 1.021 ok, or a little low if that? dont you want it at about 1.023? i dont think you have anything to worry about. as stated above evaporation is probably the cause, just make sure you use freshwater for a top off and not salt water.
