how do I make sure my anemone is health?

About 2 months ago I purchased a really nice looking seabe anemone. he is a really light yellow with bright purple dots at the ends of his tentacles. Defiantly the nicest one I have seen. Hes about 7 to 8 inches and seems really plump. As far as I can tell hes really healthy.
In the past when I have had anemone's they would only last a few months and then die. I found out that they are very light hungry and need tons of light to survive. I now have about 4.5 watts per gallon on the tank I have 260watt in PC bulbs and 150 in MH. I placed this seabe on a really nice spot directly under the MH about 1/4 of the way down in the 90 gal tank. He stayed there for about a month and half so I thought he really liked his spot. but in the past two weeks he has moved into a large cave area I have in the tank and it seems as though there is only a little bit of light getting to him.
I figured that he started to move and fell into the cave area so I moved him back to his origial spot two days ago. In the matter of 6 hours he has moved back into the cave. I would just let him be in there but I am afraid that hes not getting enough light and will die.
What do you guys think? Is he going to be alright in there?

He may be getting ready to split perhaps. Give him time, leave him in there. He won't die in two days from little light. Also, of course check all your water parameters, make sure they are on the up and up.
