how do i move mushrooms

i have gotten a rock from my local fish store it had a few mushrooms on it and now thay have gotten so big thay cover the whole thing i would like to take sume off and put them in other parts of my tank how do i do this with out killing them?

You can cut the tops off with a razor blade, they will grow back but it takes a while for them to get that big. Then you put the tops in a container with rubble they can attach too where they won't be able to float away and eventually they will attach themselves to the rubble and you can place them to where you want. When doing this it is a good idea to supplement with iodine as they use this to heal.
