How do I post pics from a website?

I have a picture on webshots that I would like to try and post but how do I post it?

Some websites will not allow you to transfer photos, but if it will allow it, here's what you do...
click on the photo, go to properties and open it, go down to the address and highlight it, copy it, bring it back here and hit the image tab in the post, and copy it in. That should bring it up.

Hmmm....It won't show up full size. Maybe if I could somehow resize it? Anyone use webshots and can get there picture to show up in the thread?

I'll try for you...

On webshots, they normally have a option that allows you to view the photo in several sizes, yours only show up in thumbnail size. If you have the photo on you computer, you can upload it right to swf. Its much easier.....
Sorry it won't work for me either...I'd try to upload right off you computer...

Ok cool thanks. Don't be surprised if its a little out of focus. Its my first attempt at taking pictures.Yeah I have the pic saved to my hard drive but if I post it will it show up as a link or in the thread?

To save on bandwidth, direct photo linking from outside sources is disabled in this forum only......so, although you can place photos hosted by other sites directly in the posts in other forums on SWF.com using image tags, it has been disabled in the photography forum to limit file size and keep the site as fast as possible due to obviously large amounts of image files in this forum.
