how do i properly dry out a star fish

just kidding but I dont know why that wouldn't work

use a food dehydrator. or like the person above me said put it in the sun and wait both will work. just dont leave it on the dash of your car while effective you will never get the smell out of your car..

Try using a blowdryer on it outside that way the smell will blow away from you.

wen i go on the beach i somtimes c dead star fish on the sand
i take them home and boil some water in a pot and then throw them in for like 3-4 min. and then take him out wit tongs and place him flat on somthin and the next day he is stiff as a rock

All they do on the various islands and places they harvest them to sell to tourists is place in direct sunlight until dry. Nothing special. I have seen mountains of starfish just laying there in the sun drying out.
