Flower, I owned one of these tanks and actually just gave it away to a coworker. She is using it to raise freshwater fry, but she is having issues with the babies getting caught under the filter cartridge. I believe that you will have the same issues.
Thanks for the heads up. I do have 5g buckets...but growing them out seems pretty difficult to keep them alive. LOL..It reminds me of when I tried to raise rats for my snake to eat. I landed up with pet rats.
Any ideas on keeping little baby horses in the refugium? I'm pretty sure I can rig some kind of mesh gizmo so they don't go into the overflow and be swallowed and chopped up by the return pump.
