Depends on the type of coral, and if it is coming with a base rock or rubble on it already. You can glue them onto rocks, wedge them in, even rubberband them. What kind of coral are you picking up?

Crazy glue gel...works great and instant, it has the exact same ingredients as the stuff sold as reef safe, and much cheaper....don't touch the coral with it, just the rock it sits on.

But can I use it underwater?

Yep...take the new coral turn it upside down leaving the coral in the water with the rock exposed...glob a bunch
of gel on the rock and just place the corals rock where you want it.

Be aware, it's easier said than done. Have to hold it in place to allow the glue to set. Gets all over my fingers, which is a major pain, so I started wearing surgical gloves when I do it. Sometimes, the stuff just does not set no matter what you do. Or it takes too long to set, b/c your glob was too big, or there's a layer of crud that was on the rock and you just tried to glue to the crud, which of course, comes right off the rock and sticks to the glue, which by now has hardened......
then again the epoxy putty is no joy either. It has no adhesiveness worth speaking of so when it hardens, if it's not wedged in, it ain't staying put.
I get so frustrated that I now let my GF do it.

Just glob the glue in the center not all over, it will spread on its own when you press the rock base into place...it shouldn't be so much it gets on your fingers. Hold it for 6 seconds and it is set. count 1, 1000 - 2,1000 - 3,1000 and on to 6,1000

good luck superglueing your frogspawn with super glue! i think you will have a easier time glueing your frogspawn stalk with some jb waterweld or another reefsafe putty
