How do you clean your filter socks?

As the title states how do you all clean your filter socks I rotate two and wash under hot tap water in a sink inside out. Is this correct, It doesn't seem like I can get it very clean this way. By the way it is a 200 micron filter sock that sits mainly all in the water except about the top two inches, then once it starts to get dirty it starts to bubble over the top and create micro bubbles in my sump. 75 Gallon with 40 gallon sump thanks in advance.

I have 6 filter socks that I rotate with. I have to change mine out about every 4 days. I turn them inside out and use a garden hose to blast as much out of the sock as I can. I then have qty:2 5 gallon salt buckets with bleach water. One is the "dirty" one and the other the "clean" one. Sock goes in the dirty bucket and then the sock that was in that one gets rinsed off and put in the clean bucket. The sock coming out of the clean bucket gets rinsed extremely well and soaked in extremely hot water. Hot water rapdily increases the evaporation rate of bleach. I then hang it up to dry and it waits about 2 weeks before being put back into the system. All traces of bleach will have long evaporated away and the filter is like new. I have been doing this for almost a year now with no problems and the filter socks still look and work great after all this time. Also, when the "clean" bucket starts to get dirty, it becomes the dirty bucket and I dump the dirty bucket starting it new as the "clean" bucket. This just helps save on bleach.
Also, I have tried the washing machine before with very poor results. That and the wife didn't exactly like that nasty filter sock in the washing machine.

I turn mine inside out, run in the washing machine hot, no soap, then i rinse it in the sink just to make sure there is no soap residue

I turn mine inside out and wash on hot and rinse on cold in a washing machine, I also add a little bleach. Let air dry outside after the final spin cycle.

Inside out, clotheswasher w/ no detergent, hot water double cycle. Comes out like new. Well, practically, anyway. ^^

I wash bags inside-out in washer with only chlorox. Then rewash turned right side out and hang dry for 1-2 days. They are white and totally disinfected. Chlorox doesn't seem to prematurely affect these bags. Cheap and does the job!
